Spectrum Skies

Coming soon from Silver Books

About Spectrum Skies

Spectrum Skies will be available in Early November from Silver Books!

Spectrum Skies is a place where humans and supernatural beings live and work together. London is a human who runs the human policing division. His counterpart is a vampire called Pascal.

London's experience with vampires has not been great. In fact, he's doesn't care for them at all.

To Pascal, London is a stuff shirt he'd rather not have to deal with. But when a new enemy arises that threatened all inhabitants of Spectrum, London and Pascal are ordered to work together.  That doesn't sit well with either!

This one screams series so we'll see what the readers say. If I hear cries, we'll revive Pascal and London. They have a lot left to do!

Excerpt from Spectrum Skies

London walked through the ultra modern police unit tonight feeling that familiar knot in his stomach. He nodded to his crew—twenty-three topnotch elite law enforcers, thirteen men, and ten women—not wanting to show his anxiety. They were all highly trained to deal with any possible culprit they could face, but they dreaded this time of year. Be it vamp or wolf, a demon from one of their many classifications, or just some idiot human on a bender, they were prepared. He'd trained every one of them, watched them endure pain and pressure, put them through the wringer and then, when he thought they couldn't take any more, put them through the wringer again. He'd never seen any of them run from anything, but these three months of blackout nights and dusky days were brutal. To top it off, his best officer, Lilith Smart, had asked for a week off and wouldn't be back for three more days.

Sammy Collard nodded at him now asLondonwalked by his desk to his office. He was a short, stocky guy, well muscled and always serious. "Hey, boss," he said, "we found two demon reptile eggs down by the blood silos today. Sent them over to the lab for analysis. Lab notified St-Maurice. He called down here, nose out of joint, saying we were supposed to notify him right away. Now he wants access to the reports. I thought we did that later. We found 'em, didn't we?"

London sighed. Pascal St-Maurice, the vamp who ran the Specs division was a consistent thorn in his side. The less London saw of St-Maurice, the more he liked it, and he suspected the feeling was mutual. "Give him what he wants,"London muttered. "If they were beside the blood silos, that's right up St-Maurice's alley since that's where his din din is."

Sammy grinned. "I'll run down and give him the copy."

"Bring a cross, and some holy water,"London muttered over one shoulder then walked into his office.
